Founder, Head of Product and Technology

“Consumer electronics and the proliferation of apps are reeling out of control.  It’s getting to be that you need an advanced IT degree just to set up and manage all of the devices in and around your home. Who has time for this?!  Truly usable and holistic technology shouldn’t be considered revolutionary, but it is and we’re doing it for the families we serve.  Moreover, we’re giving our users complete control over their digital information—now that is revolutionary”

Lisa LeVasseur’s 26 year career in the telecommunications industry has included roles ranging from software development to executive management, including architecture, product management, standards strategy and corporate technology strategy.   Lisa’s deep history in the cellular industry spans from the manufacturing world to carrier experience, and includes tenure at very large organizations (over 100,000 employees) to her most recent start-ups.

She also co-founded Quantum Mobility Solutions, Inc., a user interface design and technology strategy consulting services organization, focused on mobile device user interfaces, which attracted such clients as Samsung, DTS, and Virgin Mobile USA.

Lisa was instrumental to the launch of Amp’d Mobile and it first four handsets, including several industry technology firsts, such as the first commercial feature phone with a Windows Media DRM 10 player, and the award-winning Amp’d Live UI BREW application.
