“Did you ever spend so long getting your technology to work that you forgot what it was you were trying to do in the first place? That’s the problem Wrethink is solving.”
Robin Raskin has been translating technology into consumer friendly terms for more than 25 years, and has become one of the foremost experts on family life in a digital world. She is founder of Living in Digital Times (LIDT), a team of technophiles who bring together the most knowledgeable leaders and the latest innovations impacting both technology and lifestyle. LIDT produces conferences, exhibits and events at International CES and other locations throughout the year with a focus on how technology enhances every aspect of our lives.
Robin has authored six books, has been Editor in Chief of FamilyPC, editor of PC Magazine and columnist for USA Today Online and the Gannett News Service, winning numerous prizes for her coverage of technology. She also has been a frequent contributor to such media as MSNBC, Fox’s Good Day New York, Working Mother, Working Woman and Child.
An outspoken advocate for parental involvement in raising digital kids, she frequently addresses parents and educators, policy makers and the high tech industry on the topics “Internet Safety” and “Raising Digital Kids.” Robin has testified before the Federal Trade Commission on Internet safety and was part of then First Lady Hillary Clinton’s series of meetings for women editors.
Robin lives in New York City and the Hudson Valley with her husband and “now and then” drop in children, and closets full of obsolete technology.
